Christmas 2010
This has been the fastest December ever! It seems only yesterday we were talking about pumpkins and Thanksgiving and now Christmas has come and gone.We were blessed to have Bryon, Brandy and her 3 girls for Christmas. Bryon's 2 Jayda and Raven were in New Mexico this year.
It went so fast with much to do each weekend and during the week. We had our third annual "cookie day" where we get 4 generations including my mom, together in my kitchen to make our family holiday favorites. Avery the youngest has been crowned "Sprinkle Queen" for all the work she does on the Spritz. This year Brandy wasn't working and was able to participate and my aunt Gail arrived in time as well. It's a long, busy, day with wonderful goodies to eat at the end.
My cousin Amie from Longview, Washington joined us for a few days arriving Christmas eve. It was so good to see her. We had a great day at the Queen Creek Olive Mill for a tour and lunch with her mom, my mom and my good friend Connie. We also shared many evenings playing games with all the family.
From the slide show above you can see we also had a visit from a beautiful Bright Red Cardinal. He showed up December 12th. This is the first one we have seen here at home.
Today we had an unusual snowfall. Yes, that's right, snow in Mesa Arizona! No it didn't stick and it was only 47 degrees, but just the same we went out and had a taste for ourselves.
As always the angels have been busy at work watching over us and helping the little ones along in their journeys. My family has had some ups and downs with these trying economic times and once again our home has filled up to capacity with little angels. We anticipate a new year full of constant change and with even more joy than we were blessed with this year. With a prayer in my heart I wish only the best for those who happen upon this page. Many blessing to you.
