Raven with her Fairy Cake
It's April, Spring has sprung, the woodpeckers are waking us up at 5:00 AM and the desert is blooming. We had our first temp of 100 degrees on April 1st and then it cooled to a high of only 54 degrees on April 9th, setting a record for the coldest high in April's history. If it hadn't been for all the crazy weather across the country I'm sure all of our "snow birds" would have flown home by now, but many are still around.
It is birthday time for our family again. Our NM kids came in last week to celebrate Raven's 4th Birthday early on the 9th. Instead of a day in the park it was bowling and party at our house. The kids had a blast and wore all of the parents out. Not to mention Nana and Papa. Today is her official day and when I spoke to her this morning she was excited about going out for a tea party. Happy Birthday our Raven!
The last weekend in March my brother from Gresham, OR, was down for golf and Mariners spring training games with his company. He came out to our mom's for breakfast before flying home and we had a good visit.
